Van-type trucks are mainly used for fully enclosed transportation of goods, and have the characteristics of flexibility, convenient operation, high efficiency, large transportation volume, safety, and reliability. Its top is mainly a car body, so what materials are generally used for its car body?
There are roughly four kinds of materials for the body of a van, and the refitting factory can decide which material to use according to the needs of customers. Each of these four materials has advantages and disadvantages.
1. High-strength steel: This material has relatively high yield strength, high tensile strength, tensile strength, and Brinell hardness. The weight reduction of vehicles is mainly achieved by using the characteristics of the yield strength of high-strength steel. There are two commonly used high-strength steels, heavy-duty high-strength steel and wear-resistant high-strength steel.
1. Q235 and Q345 are mostly used in vehicles, such as the body of dump trucks, vans, tanks of oil tankers, etc. Its advantages are mainly good overall performance, strength and plasticity. It is well-matched with welding and other properties, the production difficulty is relatively low, and the price is also relatively advantageous. Its disadvantage is: the quality is heavier.
2. Aluminum alloy material: This material has good corrosion resistance, good ductility, lightweight and long service life. However, its price is relatively high, and it is generally used for some parts of the vehicle, and some are used for the entire body, such as the body of a van and the tank of a tank truck.
3. Composite materials: Carbon fiber, glass fiber, and polyurethane materials are all composite materials. The advantages of these materials are: lighter weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and easy molding. In addition to the body materials used for vans, they can also It is used as the top material for refrigerated trucks, insulation trucks and other vehicles.
These four materials are generally used for the top of van trucks, which are widely used. Small vans are mostly used for supermarket goods transportation between urban and rural areas, and large vans are mostly used for long-distance logistics transportation.
